The second time, was less fate and more meddling friends who think they know best. Now, we can’t seem to escape each other. Is there such a thing as falling too hard, too fast? Our friends seem to think we’re crazy, But this was only the beginning… Before Only For the Summer, Holly and Daniel met. Following their romance, leading up to their wedding & the events of Only For the Summer. While this is in the same universe as Only For the Summer, this is a prequel where either can be read as a standalone. Only the Beginning (Only in Seaside #.5) by Shannon O'Connor | Goodreads This is a great story showing the start of a whirlwind romance! The chemistry between the two main characters was off the charts. I am itching for more details and depth about each of the characters! Seeing as this is the prequel for a much larger series, this was a great introduction and teaser to entice readers to dive deeper into the Only in Seaside series to connect more with the characters. I can't wait to see where the next book takes us! 4 Stars!

An enchanting story, masterfully told, The House in the Cerulean Sea is about the profound experience of discovering an unlikely family in an unexpected place—and realizing that family is yours. The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune | Goodreads What a heartwarming story! All throughout reading, while this is a very different story, I found myself thinking back to memories of the feelings and thoughts I had when reading the Harry Potter and Series of Unfortunate Events books. It was magical, challenging, inspiring, and uplifting. The unique individual characters were all so well developed I felt connected to each and every one. I found this to be a surprising, refreshing, and stimulating story unlike any other I have read before. It is definitely one that I will be recommending. 5 Stars! He’s a hopeless romantic who thinks it’s the universe or fate bringing them together, but she’s adamant that their crossing paths is just a fluke. He’s determined to prove that it’s so much more than that. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/60542736-nothing-personal-for-breakfast Thank you to Jennifer Ann Shore for providing me with an ebook copy of Nothing Personal for Breakfast for me to read and review. This newest adult romance by Shore did not disappoint! I was hooked right from the very first page. The characters immediately intrigued me and I was very quickly invested and hoping the best for them. All the way through the book I did not want to put it down. Shore did a wonderful job connecting the characters in the most ironic and surprising ways. Definitely a book that I will be recommending. 5 Stars! Ache for You (Slow Burn, #3) by J.T. Geissinger | Goodreads Whew! J.T. Geissinger has done it again in Ache for You! This book was full of a phenomenal amount of sexual tension so hot it made me blush at times. The strong, unique personalities of the characters drew me into the story from the very first page with the sassy, colourful statement of exclamation made by one of the characters that made me howl with laughter. I absolutely love the teasing, sassy, sometimes snarky and sarcastic sense of humor that Geissinger incorporates into her writing. I was constantly finding myself laughing out loud at the witty dialogue and thoughts of the characters. This novel was not just chemistry and snark, but also a roller coaster of challenging and traumatic life experiences that had me questioning what could possibly happen next. Once I started I did not want to put this book down, the twists and turns kept me addicted to finding out what would happen right until the very end. 5 Stars! Melt for You (Slow Burn, #2) by J.T. Geissinger | Goodreads Wow! What a page turner! This book was so full of sarcastic and snarky humor that it had me laughing again and again all the way through the book and I did not want it to end. The characters were so interesting and unique and the personal growth of the female main character was shown so well in the story. This is the second book in Geissinger's Slow Burn series and let me tell you, this was definitely a slow burn in the absolute best, most tantalizing way possible. The heights of sexual and romantic tension built up between the 2 main characters was outstanding. When the tension built up reached its peak the result was explosive and intensely steamy! Definitely a must read for anyone who likes steamy romance! 5 Stars! |
